C is Celsius     C = 5/9 (F-32
F is Fahrenheit  F = 9/5 (C+32 

Example:
Problem:
What is the temperature in Celsius of 77 °F?

Solution:

The conversion formula for °F to °C is

TC = 5/9(TF - 32)

TC = 5/9(77 - 32)
TC = 5/9(45)
TC = 25 °C

Answer:
